LFW Day I – Falguni & Shane Peacock, Not made to blend in

Britney Spears’s choice for her latest music video, “Hold it against me” Falguni & Shane Peacock, presented their AW2011 collection at the OnOff venue on the first day of LFW.

“Life is too short to blend in” is the couple’s brand motto, which shows in their bold and audacious designs. Animal printed chiffons meet leather body con dresses and the sexy/rock chic looks are enhanced with spikes and studs details.

It doesn’t fall far from their SS11 collection, inspired in animals in danger of extinction, but the winter feeling is giving by the use of full length dresses, strong blues; black transparencies embellished in full body sequins and feather appliqués for a sexy look. The essence of the show was girl power all around, with music by Jessie J to set the mood.

It is probably why they keep being the choice of celebrities and pop divas around the globe: their pieces are not done for the shy, delicate girl; but for the confident sex goddess that lies underneath.
