First and Forever by Dr Martens

Do you remember your first love? Your first kiss? Your first fashion icon? What was the first thing you bought in your life? Do you remember your first pair of Dr Martens?

First and forever is the campaign that brings the new A/W collection by Dr Martens and searches the mind of the DM lovers and users for nostalgic memories in reassurance of the brand’s quintessential place in British fashion sub-culture.

An androgynous and utterly beautiful Agyness Deyn interacts with model Ash Stymest for Gavin Watson, a photographer known for his 20 years of experience in portraying Britain with a thought of uncompromising realism and an irreverent view.

The campaign will launch in September and will be featured in Teen Vogue, Rolling Stone, New York Times, T Style Magazine among others, and will also have a strong social media presence aiming to reach a younger audience.

During the presentation for bloggers held last Friday at the Aubin Cinema, we were shown a a short film narrated and performed by Agyness Deyn called First Heartbreak. It was really beautiful aesthetically and sentimentally. I have personally never own a pair of Doc Martens before but I can’t wait to have my first.
